A collection of work from the past few years
The EE connected home flagship store was a major undertaking, not just for me but for the entire team at https://weareyourstudio.com/
I was brought in to lead the development of the digital shop front displays and calming digital spa. This was a challenging project, as it required us to rethink the traditional retail experience. However, I am proud of how the animations and spa turned out, and I believe that they have set a new standard for retail technology.
I had the pleasure of working on the Money Heist live show for Netflix’ flagship show. I was brought in to do the LED screen animations and video graphics throughout.
I worked with Tommy Digital Creative agency to bring to life a new Instagram AR app. You control the central character by smiling, moving it up and down to collect coins and avoid obstacles. Everything was done in the pixel art style we know and love from back in the day. I really enjoyed this project.
I created a self-initiated project about a leaf's descent to earth.
The idea came to me while I was on holiday, watching leaves ruin people's afternoon drinks and food. They would drop into drinks, land on plates of food, and generally not give two shits. I found this strangely funny, so I decided to use the idea as a vessel to learn a few new techniques within 3D and animation.
The result is a cute little animation, and I'm grateful to https://www.boxoftoysaudio.com/ sound design for their help. They were great to work with.
What’s scarier than changing your phone? Producing 4 high end animated videos in just over 2 weeks.
This required a lot of late nights and weekends, but I am proud of what we achieved in the end. I learned a great deal about frame-by-frame animation and animation techniques, and I believe that the videos are of a high standard, considering the super tight deadlines.
We're not supposed to be here. Five players who refused to take no for an answer.
Following the 'Out Of Nowhere' Campaign style we take a look at their journey from birth to NBA stardom and the struggles they faced throughout their lives.
This was a project I helped get over the line at Huge, taking over Art Direction and design from initial concept development to delivery.
Fjord hired me to come in and be the go-to animation director for their Accenture innovation centre over in Dublin. We spent the initial production and development stage in London then travelled over to Dublin for installation and testing.
My role was to push user interaction and animation transitions, graphic animations, 3D background environment and general consistency.
Thanks: Luke Haliwell (Visual Design & Art Direction), James Penfold (Visual Design Lead), Tim Janes (Visual Design, doughnut bro), Tim Brooke (Dev, Web GL), Robin Hunter (Dev legend), Dennis Parker (Dev boss), Amy Quinn (Awesome PM legend)
I was invited to collaborate with the talented HMX Media Production studio on their Lenovo product films. The films were created to showcase the level of detail and technology that goes into each Lenovo device.
I designed and animated all of the motion graphics elements to be incorporated into the beautiful 3D renders, as well as the title and end cards. My work helped to create a visually stunning and informative series of films that effectively communicated the value of Lenovo products to potential customers.
"Can Chelsea and Arsenal fans put their differences aside for tomorrow’s game?" This fun animation was produced using After Effects, Cinema 4D and the usual programs. It took about a week to complete in total.
Google Play was brought to life to try and encourage mobile gamers to visit the google play store and try out the new titles.
It's about getting your #Thumbsready and taking on Darth Vader and scary war lords... on your commute into work, of course.
I was heavily involved in the development of the packaging for the thumb hats to sit proudly in and the foam to keep them in place.
I was then tasked to Design, animate and Art Direct the youtube mastheads for each title.
Art Direction and design (Facebook app & video titles)
Passion creation for Pringles new flavours
We went all out to serve up the brand’s unique style of unexpected fun to our young digital audience and deliver a digitally-led launch of new flavours, across ten European markets.
Pringles fans showed they had taste with 4,000,000 views and counting
Creative Direction, 3D Design & Animation
For Rice Krispies we created a 3D world children and parents could interact with together through an app.
Parents were encouraged to develop their child's cooking skills by interacting with animated characters and traveling through a 3D world.
Kellogg's Spoons was an online platform where people could have their very own personalised engraved spoon. At the click of a button.
The platform look and feel was designed and art directed by myself using Cinema 4D and Photoshop, the good animators at Kellogg's brought the characters to life and incorporated them into my design.
Creative Direction.
This film is trying to make a stand against the iPhone generation and the 'trends' that young people follow and sometimes feel they need to adhere to.
The result is a film aimed at 16 - 35 year olds to feature online and I thought the VO selection and track worked brilliantly with the 3D production (that I oversaw, not created). The result is an awesome film that the client loved and decided to use in their opening product show in Germany.
I played a key role in the launch of the Nokia Lumia mobile phone, from the initial pitch to the final re-editing of the television commercials. I took the 3D files and animated the user interface (UI), supers, and video edits to tell the story of the CNN app in a compelling and engaging way.
Here is a selection of the internal work I have done for Isobar over my time here.
There is a nice selection of static 3D renders and animations.
